Baiacu was a multidisciplinary project, coordinated in three fronts: the occupation of a Sesc building, with murals, workshops, talks and more; a residency program of 15 days of artistic production with 10 artists from Brazil and abroad and 5 collaborators working remotely; and a book publication with the materials developed in the residency, an experimental view of the comics possibilities. 


The artists involved: Mariana Paraiso, Laura Lannes, Power Paola, Juliana Russo, Fabio Zimbres, Rafael Sica, Pedro Franz, Eloar Guazzelli, Ilan Manouach and Gabriel Góes. Out of the house: André Santanna, Ana Paula Magalhães, Paula Puiupo, Daniel Galera and Diego Gerlach. 


The project was made in partnership with Sesc São Paulo and Editora Todavia.
